Software on the web – that is the best way to describe web-based applications and we love the challenge of bringing them to life. Much of what we do everyday, how we interact with customers or how we manage our business is a suspect for automation and for creating efficiencies through a web delivery system. Our own expertise combined with our broad network of partners ensure that whether proprietary technology built on an open source platform or integrating with your enterprise ERP system, we know how to get it done.
TrueScrum
We have an approach for building web applications that fast-tracks a proof of concept, prototype or early stage application development. Five days of strategic input and 2-3 weeks of focused development – In less than 30 days, we are looking at the first iteration of a working application. Learn More
The following are five client examples that provide a view into the range of web application experience we possess.
Online Insurance Policy Management – The Intermodal Carriers Association of North America serves a large niche market in the intermodal trucking industry, We built a robust .NET application for quoting rates, creating policies and handling day-to-day policy management needs with full customer management capability.
Automated Charting – A specialized research and consulting firm for managing marketing culture and innovation needed an automated capability for producing customized metrics and charts. We delivered with a dynamic open source application built on the Ruby platform.
Event Management – The Center of Innovation Management at North Carolina State University puts on several events a year. Keeping up with registrations and every special request can be a task in itself. We designed and built a comprehensive event management system that allows for configuring and launching online event announcements, customizing registration, tracking and managing session participation and even printing name tags and table cards. This was developed with open source PHP and MySQL and is also integrated to their content management system.
Pharmaceutical Distribution – DispenseXpress, a leader in the prepackaged pharmaceutical distribution had a goal. Enable private practice physicians to easily dispense, manage patient prescriptions, create formularies and manage inventory and reorder points. Through a series of modeling exercises and interface design workshops, we built a .NET desktop application that uses an Internet connection for updating formularies and ordering products without jeopardizing the security of patient data.
Idea Management – Harnessing various communities for ideas requires participation and collaboration. Bringing teams together who are in different parts of the business or even across the world can be a challenge. For a large consulting firm representing many in the Fortune 500, we designed and developed an idea generation and collaboration tool on an Open Source platform that allows for any number of participants to contribute and comment on ideas anonymously or with their name known to all. Moderators have complete control of online idea sessions and can encourage participation as needed. The application was built on the open source Ruby platform.
